The Wild bunch
This ministry serves those in our community who are in need of handicap accessible ramps at their homes and are unable to afford them. Once a community member need is recognized, a team of volunteers works to prepare their home for a ramp.
While this service is free of charge to the recipient, donations are accepted. All able-bodied person are invited to participate in this ministry. Please contact John Wiggers for more information at 601-504-7354.
Helping hands
Our church is one of the many groups of volunteers who help at Helping Hands weekly. This ministry serves though in our community in need of food, clothes and other necessities in extreme time of need. The facility is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-12:00pm.
Volunteers are needed to help interview clients, fill food orders, and assist in sorting donations. Please contact Helping Hands for ways to get involved at 662-289-7031.
Helping Hands Toy Drive
This is a seasonal ministry that begins around November. It is an effort to help provide gifts for children in need. Please contact Betsy Powell if you feel led to donate at 662-289-1412.
Help minister to the youngest people in the church! Weekly volunteers are needed to help serve in the nursery with Nancy Josey to help monitor and supervise the children. This service is provided during the Sunday morning worship from 10:00-11:00am.

nursery volunteer
This is a free activity that takes place twice per week in the fellowship hall at the church. This class is open to all. Please bring a mat and small towel with you. The class meets on Monday at 9:00am and Thursday at 9:30am.

Tai Chi Classes
This important role serves during the church worship time on Sunday mornings from 10:00-11:00am. This group of servants welcomes guests to church, collects offering, assists with communion, among other duties.

Weekly Ushers
Several members of our church and community are considered home bound. We will take communion to them on a monthly basis. If you know of community members who would like to receive communion in their homes, nursing home, or assisted living facility, please let Peggy Keady know at 662.289.9087.
There is also room available on Peggy's team to assist with communion delivery. If you'd like to be included in this ministry, your help is welcomed!
