The Wild bunch
This ministry serves those in our community who are in need of handicap accessible ramps at their homes and are unable to afford them. Once a community member need is recognized, a team of volunteers works to prepare their home for a ramp.
While this service is free of charge to the receipient, donations are accepted. All able-bodied person are invited to participate in this ministry. Please contact Tom Wasson for more information at 662-739-0488
Our church is one of the many groups of volunteers who help at Helping Hands weekly. This ministry serves though in our community in need of food, clothes and other necessities in extreme time of need. The facility is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-12pm.

This is a seasonal ministry that begins around October. Children in our community are signed up for the program, and it is an effort to help provide gifts for children with incarcerated parents.

Help minister to the youngest people in the church! Weekly volunteers are needed to help serve in the nursery with Nancy Josey to help monitor and supervise the children. This service is provided during the Sunday morning worship from 10-11am.

This is a free activity that takes place twice per week in the fellowship hall at the church. This class is open to all. Please bring a mat and small towel with you. The class meets on Monday and Thursday at 9am.

Tai Chi Classes
This group meets weekly on Monday mornings in the church parlor/kitchen area at 10:30am. This is a group of community members that come together and pray for different needs and concerns brought to the group's attention. All are invited to join this prayer group.

This important role serves during the church worship time on Sunday mornings from 10-11am. This group of servants welcomes guests to church, collects offering, assists with communion, among other duties.

This is a monthly gathering of men in the community. While this was started with FUMC, it has grown to include participants throughout the community! Generally led by Henry Jones and Terry Culpepper, the group of men gather to fellowship and enjoy a great meal. All are welcome to attend!

Men's supper club
This group of participants is from the local FUMC churches. They gather together to pray for our local community and fellowship together. Anyone is welcome to attend this gathering. Please contact Peggy Keady for more information on meeting dates and times at 662.289.9087
Several members of our church and community are considered home bound. We will take communion to them on a monthly basis. If you know of community members who would like to receive communion in their homes, nursing home, or assisted living facility, please let Peggy Keady know at 662.289.9087.
There is also room available on Peggy's team to assist with communion delivery. If you'd like to be included in this ministry, your help is welcomed!
